2017 prospect, Jared Payton, a 5-foot-11, 182-pound prospect, for Gahanna Lincoln just outside Columbus Ohio, is a top prospect in the 2017 class. Payton projects as a safety or outside linebacker in college. The Scarlet Buckeye recruiting team sat down with Payton to provide this update on his recruitment.
1. What colleges are you primarily interested in?
The colleges I am most interested is what ever is the best for my family and my future!
2. You recently visited Ohio State, what are your thoughts on the visit?
OMG it was amazing I love it and I love the campus and the academic program and football program and the coaching staff and weight room!
3. What are your goals going into next season?
My goals going into this season is to start varsity and make all OCC team! Hopefully earn a scholarship offer!
4. What will be the primary factors for your college decision?
What is best for my future and my family.
5. What colleges have been in contact with you?
Cent. Michigan, Cincinnati, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Louisville, LSU,
Miami (OH), Michigan, Ohio State, Tennessee and Western Kentucky
6. Have any schools offered you a scholarship?
No offers yet.
7. What summer camps do you plan to attend?
I plan on going to Florida Clemson and Ohio State and also FBU camps.
8. Describe your playing style?
I play with passion and I am aggressive and I play hard, fast and physical and play like it my last every single time.
9. What college team did you grow up watching?
Florida and Ohio state.
