Taylor is considered a 3-star prospect by Scout.com and the 77h best tackle prospect in the nation. Taylor becomes the 22nd verbal commitment for the 2014 class. Taylor flipped his commitment from Virginia Tech to Ohio State. He received an offer from the Buckeyes recently and visited soon after.
