#15 Ohio State (7-1) ran past Eastern Michigan (5-3), 111-60. Jon Diebler scored 21 points, hitting 6 of 8 from behind the three point line. P.J. Hill added 18 points, Jeremie Simmons scored 17 and William Buford and David Lighty each had 16 points for Ohio State. The Buckeyes set an arena record for most points scored with 111.
Evan Turner took a very hard fall on an drive to the basket early in the first half. Turner was able to walk slowly to the lockeroom and early reports from Ohio State stated Turner was taken to the tOSU medical center for precautionary x-rays.
