On a day when many of the top 25 were upset, #1 Ohio State watched a 13 point second half lead evaporate and was able to make the key plays down the stretch to escape Northwestern with a very hard fought and unexpected close victory, 58-57. Jared Sullnger led the Buckeyes with 21 points and 8 rebounds. Aaron Craft scored 13 points and William Buford chipped in with 11 points
