Halftime: Bucks: 20 Minn: 7 We need to take them out of the game emotionally. That's the only thing that is keeping them going.
I'll tell you one thing: Our Defense can tackle! And our offense is a machine. And Ray Small is a BEAST! And we have an amazing kicker from South Africa![who can TACKLE!] And we have an amazing punter. And we have the Best coach ever!
Great game tonight. We did a good job of getting points on the board without showing anything to Purdue.
The last number they gave us was 13 tackles, I am not sure what his final tackle amount was, but it was something like 13-15.
Man that INT by Larry Grant was beautiful. So were the moves he put on returning that ball. Maybe we should try him out for TE? lol maybe not...
haha, that was an awesome interception. He did look pretty good, he made a lot of people miss. He is just a little undersized for TE maybe he could be a fullback? just messing around, but we do have some great talent on defense. It seems like whenever the opponent drives the ball down the field we come up with a huge turnover. Our defense is playing great when the time is right.
He destroyed several. I changed the channel for a second though and when I came back, I heard something about a fumble by Beanie near the endzone. What happened?
Offense: B Played decent enough to get the win and not show our future oppenents anything. We made Minnesota play our style of football. Beanie got over 100 yds, Boeckman didn't throw any INTs, passes were spread out to 8-9 recievers, Robiskie had that amazing TD grab and 99 yds receiving, no one was injured, O-line dominated. Good week overall. The only bad things I saw were Beanie's fumble, and a little 2nd half complacency. Defense: A- Defense was stout all game. We seriously bent, but didn't break. Laurinaitis had 13+ tackles, Jenkins had an INT, Grant had an INT, we had a great goal line stand. The only bad things I saw were the bad special teams coverage, we only had 1 sack, and we started slow (let them get too many dumb first downs).
I was very impressed with Ray Small last night. He had a great burst of speed when he turned the corners on those runs and catches. I think we should get him the ball more!
I would love to see Small and Robo go with a switch every once in a while on the deep ball. Can you imagine how dangerous that would be to have Small running a streak with Robo cutting underneath!? The "D" would have no idea how to stop these two... and then you throw Hartline and Sanzenbaker into it and we are just crazy.
It took our offense too long to throw the long ball to Robo. The Boeckman-Robo longball connection is becoming as dangerous and Smith-Holmes was.
