Is Marshall Ohio’s No. 1 Soph?......................Marshall indicates Ohio State is his leader and he is not concerned about Braxton Miller being on campus. Marshall enjoyed his visit for the Michigan game.

Marshall will be the starting QB at Middletown this year i can confirm that, the thing is they are switching to a tripple option type offense which wont help him at all (in terms of being a QB)

Yea this kids not a qb....He could really develop into one of the top wr's in the country if he would focus on that position...

but the thing is he wantst to be a QB at his level, if he could build up alot better arm strength then i can see a smaller cam newton, not the fastest guy (but not slow either) but doesnt go down easy and knows how to win

If they're going to run the triple option this season, it won't benefit him as a QB, and that offense wouldn't benefit him much as a receiver either, other than getting some reps and learning how to block in open space as a WR and start learning some route running techniques. He wouldn't get the ball much or put up big receiving numbers but it would start his process of converting. I'm sure since he's the best player and athlete on his highschool team, he'll probably play QB so he can touch the ball on every snap because he's a superior athlete at that level. Every year, there's guys all over the country that play QB in highschool but switch for college (Orhion Johnson/Verlon Reed). That's usually why you see them classified as an "athlete" because they are playing out of their projected position for college.

I know OSU does not view him as a quarterback on the D-1 level.........if his heart is set on playing QB in college then he will not be at OSU...............

MAC school, or a Indiana, Cincinnati, or West Virginia type. I'm sure he'll be smart enough to know his future at the college level and beyond is at WR if that is clearly the case. I don't blame him if he thinks he can be a QB and goes somewhere else although I don't think that's in his best interest for his future.

if he gets offered as a QB by Oregon then i expect him to go to Oregon

he really loves their offense from what ive heard

we might not offer him for a while, might be a wait and see process with his QB development
