Wide Receiver Taivon Jacobs (5'11", 170lbs) from District Heights, Maryland has verbaled to Coach Meyer and Ohio State. Jacobs is a football and track star and has ran the fastest 300 meters in the country at 34.71. Jacobs becomes the 15th verbal commitment for the 2013 class.

Has a chance to be a very good player in our offense....


He reminds me a bit of #12......


I just hope he's half as tough as Sanzenbacher

Can you say steal? All that video shows is him making impressive plays on offense, defense and special teams.

This kid reminds me a little of Desean Jackson. Could he be that Percy Harvin type player we've been looking for? I say potentially yes.

The only flaws I can think of is that he needs to bulk up a bit and the competition he faces in high school may not exactly be the GCL in Cincy. Other than that I see a very good athlete that knows how to play football. Seems to do well in the classroom too.
