Breaking news tonight on ESPN.... former Buckeye great and Super Bowl XLIII hero, Santonio Holmes has been traded to the New York Jets for a 5th round pick in this year's draft. Holmes was the 25th overall pick of the Steelers in 2005.

That's NUTS!!! Thank goodness he's out of the AFC North though.

WR Santonio Holmes
WR Braylon Edwards

On paper, it's looking like the Jets might have relieved some of the pressure on their Defense...

steelers got fed up with all the crap going on. can't blame them though. with all the stuff going on with big ben. now, holmes violated the susbstance abuse rule. holmes has had a lot of baggage since he's come to pitts.

Even after back to back losses to the Jets, I can't personally say I'm a fan of them, but I am definitely a fan of many of their players. lol

Maybe that will change when hard knocks rolls around.
