Williams is rated as the #15 SG in the 2013 recruiting class according to Rivals.com and a consensus 4-star prospect by all four major recruiting services. The sharp-shooter from Mount St. Joseph High becomes the second commitment to the Buckeye's 2013 recruiting class, joining in-state PF Marc Loving.

He's shorter than the SG's that Matta usually goes after...

He's about 6'2"-6'3" and Matta typically targets SGs that are between 6'5"-6'7" (Buford, Turner, Deibler, Ross, Thompson, etc)..


The closest player to Kam that I can think of that Matta has brought in is Sibert, but Kam Williams is supposedly a dead-eye shooter and a very good perimeter defender...
