Ron Tanner, a 4-star safety prospect (6'2, 200 pounds), from Columbus, Ohio has became the 17th commitment for the 2011 class. Tanner rated the No. 7 safety in the nation by Scout.com. Tanner collected 83 tackles and seven interceptions as a junior.​
