Quarterback/Athlete Verlon Reed is a Buckeye!

Quarterback prospect Verlon Reed (6'2, 185 pounds) from Marion Franklin High School in Ohio verbaled to Ohio State this morning. Reed chose the Buckeyes over Syracuse, Toledo, Bowling Green and Kent State. Reed becomes the 15th member of the class of 2010.

don't know too much about this kid. how much potential does this kid have to being a playmaker for us??

He is further along at quarterback than Kenny Guiton from the previous class, if he does move positions I have to believe he will be a wide receiver...........

yeah i could see that. but with the depth we have already and qb depth has been an issue since last year. i would like to see some video on this kid. he has enough height to play qb but who good does he throw the ball is my question.

He is a very good passer and runner.........very good athlete..........he ran for 1,191 yards and 16 touchdowns and threw for 1,335 yards and 16 touchdowns.....
