Linebacker Mike Mitchell (6'4", 225lbs) from Prestonwood Christian, Texas, has verbaled to Coach Meyer and Ohio State. Mitchell is rated as the #2 MLB in the country by Scout.com and a 5-star prospect. Mitchell becomes the 21st verbal commitment for the 2013 class.

Mitchell will probably be our starter in the middle next season. There will be early growing pains, but this kid is going to have a chance to be an All-B1G player 3X and potentially a 2X All-American....
