Joel Hale (6'5, 295 pounds) defensive tackle prospect, from Center Grove High School in Greenwood, Indiana, a top 150 player nationally and 3-Star prospect by Scout.com in the 2011 class nationally has verbaled to Ohio State. Hale collected 50 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, four sacks and one interception for a touchdown in his Junior season. Hale becomes the 14th member of the class of 2011.

the rate we are going this class will be done before the end of the season. welcome to the buckeye family Hale!

One thing that I think is notable is that he already has the size to play DT for us, seems like it's rare a kid will come in at 290-310 pounds(Simon I believe came in at 250)

Just a thought, if we get McReynolds too, would it be out of the question to move Hale to LT? He is long and very athletic. Does he play both ways right now and was anyone recruiting him for offense?

Hale is a defensive lineman.............no offense for this kid...................could end up being a DT or a DE at the next level.............
