Buckeyes run Alcorn State out of gym, 100-60

The #16 Ohio State Buckeyes ran past Alcorn State 100-60 in the season opener for both squads. Evan Turner recorded only the second triple double in the history of OSU men's basketball with 14 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists. Jon Diebler led the Buckeyes in scoring with 22 points, William Buford added 19 points, Jeremie Simmons 12 and Walter Offutt 11. David Lighty saw his first action since missing most of last season with a foot injury and contributed 8 points and 8 assists.​
