they only problem i have with ohio state's schedules in the past. i wish we could have more night games at home. it just seems more and more big ten teams are getting the games scheduled at night when ohio state shows up. i think night games are harder to win. penn state got this years matchup again at night in their yard. so it gives their fans all day to get ready for the game. i think it would be a hell lot cooler to be in c bus for a night game.
day games are when ohio state does their thing. its like magic on a field. i think the previous 5 years have showed ohio states schedule is just fine with day games.
I wouldn't mind seeing 1 night game a year at tOSU but day games have always been apart of the Buckeyes.
id say if theres a day game we have to keep its definately the osu-mich game. that needs to stay during the day.
No question about it. ABC wanted to move the OSU/tsun game to 8 pm last year but neither school wanted to do that. I think everyone would be pretty upset if they moved that rivarly to night.
the only reason i can see why we don't have more night games is because of the rioting. i know last year they pushed for sportsmanship with the fans. i was in c bus for the riot in 2001. i didn't know about it till the next morning because i was on a different part of campus. i just would like to see us make a penn st, wisconsin, or even a illinois game at night. the reason i say this is because the fans have more time to get ready for the game and more tv time. i hate it when we have noon games. i just think that's just too early. but i tend to party too much the night before. ha ha
When we beat tsun this past year they were expecting riots. However there was really nothing bad at all. Just a couple trash can fires and that was it. I was down there (but not at the game) and the place was awesome!
3:30 is the best start time. it gives you about 3 hours after you wake up to get ready if your like me and sleep till noon. and the game ends around 7:00 so it gets into the early stages of night but not quite a 8-9 game. its the perfect time.
I don't think Michigan Stadium has lights so that would prevent a night game. Michigan fans for awhile have been complaing about not having lights in their stadium.
umm... maybe the lights are out? michigan has played night games in the past. plus michigans stadium is the big house...meaning its BIG. so i doubt a stadium of that size would go without lights.
Well it's just like Ohio Stadium's issue. We don't have any significant permanent lights but if we play a night game they bring in those huge light towers that they park just outside the stadium.
yeah there would always be a way for michigan to play a night game. a university that big isnt going to go without any lights in the football stadium.
