I wouldn't want to see alt unis. Maybe throwbacks for a game where we surpass some record or something like that.
As soon as I saw the title I knew the black uni's would be the best. Not sure how that would go down with the tradition of OSU though..look cool, but good idea? That's iffy.
i'm not a fan of OSU getting alt. jerseys, but the black tops and regular pants look good. the gray tops look good too if the numbers were scarlet.
I definitely wouldn't want alt. jerseys... we're not Oregon. There would be a huge uproar if they did make a change to our traditional scarlet and white tops.
ummm, I'm still getting used to the stripes on the arms not having grey. Honestly, I like some of the more non-traditional uniforms around the country, but not for OSU. I think some of the weird uni's match that program. Although I think Oregon's combinations are grotesque, they seem to match the program and area (nike headquarters); Cinci's new uniforms seem to match. I don't know, I don't have a solid reason why I turn my nose at the thought of new OSU uniforms, but I am definitely against it... ... Especially the black ones.
No, no, no alternate jerseys. Never. Not even for one single game. Not even once. Not even for a halloween prank. This is not Oregon or Rutgers where we need some king of gimmick to get attention. Leave the publicity stunts to the wanna-be schools. We are, and will always be THE Ohio State University. I wish we would keep the newer fitting Nike jerseys but bring back the scarlet stripe on the sleeve. The classic buckeye home jersey look of the early 2000s was the best and should not have been changed.
