Jared Sullinger - F/C - Boston Celtics

After seeing his production drop off over the last month, Jared Sullinger had a couple performances that reminded fans of what he had been doing earlier in the season. The week kicked off with Sullinger drilling four three-pointers on his way to 26 points and eight rebounds in the 99-90 loss against Toronto on Wednesday. The 26 points were the first time Sullinger had broken the 20-point mark since February 7th against Sacramento, when he scored 31 points. The Raptors and Celtics squared off again just a couple days later in Toronto, and while Sullinger didn't get near the 26 points he had in the last meeting, he nearly was able to notch a double-double, finishing with 11 points and nine rebounds in the 105-103 loss.

Sunday saw Boston drop another close matchup, this time falling to Chicago 107-102, but Sullinger was able to get the double-double that had been eluding him lately. The second-year pro finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds, which gave Sullinger his first double-double since February 21st against the Lakers. The Celtics finished up the week the next night, this time traveling to Chicago where they fell 94-80 to the Bulls. After what was mostly a strong week for Sullinger finished on an ugly note, shooting only 1-6 to finish with two points in 20 minutes on the floor in the loss.

With Kris Humphries dealing with knee tendinitis, Sullinger saw a boost in his minutes in a couple games last week, allowing him to put up some of the numbers that we saw from him early in the season. Sullinger started off the week playing 36 minutes in the 118-92 loss to Washington, and scoring 25 points. A couple days later Boston suffered a loss to the lowly 76ers, where Sullinger scored 10 points and grabbed six rebounds, but fouled out after playing 30 minutes in the game.

The best game of the week for Sullinger came the next night in a loss to Detroit, where Sullinger registered a double-double, scoring 22 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and also dishing out five assists in 36 minutes of play. Sullinger went 4-6 from three-pointer, tying his career-high for three-pointers made in a NBA game. Two other times this season Sullinger has hit four triples, with the most recent occurrence coming on March 26th against Toronto. It wasn't all good news for Sullinger in Saturday night's game, as he ended the game with a bruised left thigh, which leaves his status for Boston's next game on Wednesday night up in the air.

Sullinger scored 22 points (8-16 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-6 FT) to go along with eight rebounds, one assist, two steals and four blocks in 33 minutes Monday against the Hornets.

Spin: Sullinger was really the only Celtic to excel Monday as he scored at least 16 points for the third time in his last four games. The Celtics can sometimes have unpredictable rotations, but Sullinger is actually averaging about a minute more per game this season than he did last year. He's not a flashy fantasy option, but he does provide solid value.
