It really is too bad things didn't work out with Berry. I didn't think he fit in under Tressel's offense but could have really flourished under Meyer's offense.

Best of luck to him where ever he goes.

It's a shame. Meyer could have made great use of his talents

Berry To Play This Season.............Former Ohio State tailback Jaamal Berry has transferred to Murray State, and will be eligible this coming season. Berry will be a redshirt junior and will have two years of eligibility at Murray State.

Sad he couldn't keep it together here. Imagine how nice it potentially would have been to see him in Urban's offense

Agreed... the combination of Hall, Hyde, and Berry would've been explosive, instead we get to lean on Hyde and probably Dunn and Smith until Hall's return... But this is THE OSU and we will always have a running game to be at least reasonably happy with... and under the Power Spread with Urban and Herman calling the shots... oOo... the rest of the B1G is in for a bumpy ride trying to stop us.

I really hope Urban is recruiting Silas Redd from PSU... He could take over Hall's spot!

I'd rather have Derrick Green for 4-5 years...

Redd would be fine too though...

I never really liked Silas Redd like that. Maybe I'm just used to us breaking through the PSU O-line and stopping him before he even really gets started but I don't remember him doing too much damage to us.

Outside of Lamaar Miller, I can't think of any tailback really doing work to us over the last 5 years or so.

Joe McKnight on that last drive for USC was unbearable. That first pass he caught on the drive just gave me the chills and I had a bad feeling about that whole thing

2nd half Burkhead comes to mind....

Also, a couple seasons ago, Ball/White/Big Dude (name?) were pretty dominant against our D.....

Overall though, we've been one of the top teams in the country against the run while playing primarily in a running conference....

    Pretty impressive IMO........
