Rivals.com Scout.com Wide Receiver Dallas, Texas Jesuit Ht: 6'4" Wt: 194 lbs 40: 4.59 secs Ohio State has reportedly offered. 108 catches, 1,637 yards, 15.2 ypc, 23 touchdowns (Junior Season) Jake Oliver #6 ~ Dallas Jesuit ~ 6'4 198 4.59 ~ 2011 Junior Highlights - YouTube
He really knows how to get open! One of the best HS route runners I've seen. And I love the way he blocks...I like this offer!
He looks similar to Mike Heuerman to me. I like how we've got offers out to about 3 or 4 kids from Texas and we're just gettin started!
Why is that your first thought when looking at a kid 6-4 and under 200 lbs that had over 1,600 yards receiving?
Very mobile. Could be another Stoney in that he could give Defenses headaches trying to cover him from the TE position.
He blocks great! I just noticed ppl automatically suggesting TE with this kid. but Michael Parker, Marquez North, and Travis Johnson are all 2013 WR's and as big or bigger than this kid but nobody thought TE with those guys....
Because he's a great athlete with amazing blocking skills. This is something that Urban has traditionally coveted at the TE position... There's nothing wrong w/ a position change. Ask Fred Davis.
Rivals.com$ Oliver Marvels at Sooners 'Winning Attitude'............Few high school receivers have a better idea of what it takes to be a great player than Dallas Jesuit's Jake Oliver but on Saturday he saw some things that make for a winning team.
Damn... If u guys can't already tell, I'm pulling for Meyer to bring in some bigger athletes to solidify our weak TE position... There's still plenty of guys out there, but Oliver would've been a nice pick up.
