i think its ridiculous. and that refs will be banned from betting on anything. some teams may not have even won if it werent for him making wrong calls to make money.
Not in the slighest. I think its just one guy on a 3 man crew. There is only so much fixing that can happen. I will reserve final judgement until all the facts are out though.
I think certain refs just suck in general. Your never gonna be able to keep them from making all the right calls. Im sure there are a few other bad apples out there.
Ive heard up to 12 years. I just do not see how that is worth it. But when you have gambling debt I guess you will do anything possible to try to get out of it. I personally see him getting 2 or 3 years and lots of probation.
Oh yea he is done for good. And I also think he will have a hard time finding a job when he gets out of jail. Such a shame.
Well he turned him self in and accepted a plea deal today. Looks like he is facing up to 25 years in prison. OUCH
I never thought it would be 25 either. I think thats way to much. I mean the man didnt kill no dogs or anybody. He is gonna get way more years than Mr Vicious Vick. That to me is just wrong. I understand he was completely wrong and needs to pay for his mistake. But 25 years? Seems a little excessive.
IMO... they are going to use him as an example for others not to make bets like that because he is an expendable person. Vick on the other hand... thats quite a different story if you ask me. =\
