Yesterday I upgraded the forums to the latest stable version for the season and in addition I added a countdown clock which will be updated throughout the season. Also on the left side of the forum home page I added some buckeye tweetage. Check it out as I think it'll be pretty useful. A mobile style theme has finally been added to the site now you iphone, android, etc users can browse this forum on a friendly, easy to navigate theme. vBShop has been disabled for the time being... not sure if this will return... upsetting?? vBcredits may be changed for something else... more on that when the time arrives. I still plan on overhauling the front page. Seems boring to me GO BUCKS! h_sign:
Great job ahoe, I love this site and you guys all do an awesome job!!!!! ScarletBuckeye WINNING!!!!!!
Not sweating the vBShop. It's a great concept but I feel like it just wasn't all it could be. Not entirely sure how it could've been improved though. So far so good Arap!
Very nice addition with the FaceBook and Twitter links being re-located to the top of the page. Looks good guys. Keep up the good work!!:hurray:
I have a suggestion.... Not sure this is feaible but..... Can we create a sub-forum in the "Football Talk" forum for former players and call it something like "Football Alumni" instead of having to search 5 pages deep into the NFL section for a player like Nick Mangold.....And also in the "Basketball Talk" have a sub-forum for "Basketball Alumni" instead of having our Euro's (Deibler) stuck in the NBA Forum.... I think that would make it a lot more convenient to find certain threads, topics, etc, because it would at the same time clean up the NFL and NBA Forums.. If we did this, the "Football Alumni" sub-forum would look similar to a recruiting class sub-forum.. Feasible? Thanks for your time. -Phatty
I know Araphoe and I have had a few discussions about this topic....... What are your thoughts now Araphoe?
No problem. While I appreciate the suggestion I don't really want to go in this direction because it would make us look way too alike with another forum. Outside of recruiting, I've never really been a big fan of player threads as I feel it doesn't really encourage open discussion among all users.
the little graphic at the top of your browser or in your bookmarks list. You won't get one in iOS though.
Don't get mad at me here, but remember I'm not a graphic designer like you; what the hell is the "bookmarks list" and an "iOS"?? If I haven't read a post, it's bold on the "Today's Posts" Is there a better way that I can find posts that I haven't read with a "bookmark list"??? Thanks
can we make the search button a little bigger for mr code. Might make yalls work a little easier with not combining so many threads.
Very nice addition with the recruiting forum...:hurray: I think this should help SB Nation find prospects profiles a lot more efficiently... Nice addition to the site... What happened to the "Like" option that we had for about 45 minutes the other day? I "Liked" it....I really did..
