JAVIAN OSBORNE PICKS UP BUCKEYES OFFER Ohio State running backs coach Carlos Locklyn has offered another running back in his brief Columbus tenure. Rising 2026 Texas prospect Javian Osborne picked up an offer from Locklyn on Monday, making him the fourth running back the Buckeyes have offered in the 2026 class. Osborne doesn’t hold a composite ranking from 247Sports yet, but he has picked up more than 20 Division I offers, including Texas, Alabama, Baylor, Georgia, Houston, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon, SMU, Stanford, TCU, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, USC, Washington and Wisconsin. As a sophomore, the 5-foot-10, 188-pound Osborne ran for an eye-popping 2,231 yards on 290 carries with 39 rushing touchdowns. He added 181 receiving yards on 15 catches with two receiving touchdowns. In his freshman year, Osborne recorded 1,064 rushing yards and eight touchdowns while averaging 7.39 yards per carry.
