I know this sounds horrible, but if he is out indefinitely, thank God we had him for part of this game, and its early in the season. If he went down week 7 or 8, it would be so much worse. Now we have the ability to get some other guys more experience and try to get people ready. Obviously it will suck if we don't have him for PSU, but at least this early gives us time to get the other pups behind Coop and Young ready.

I just wish PSU wasn’t in two weeks! That’s the only remaining game that we need him for before the playoffs.

*Well Urban's presser just said Bosa is out for Tulane and he will get re-evaluated, I think that potentially could be good news. You know he has already been checked, so if it was something torn or ripped off, there would be no point in lying, unless he wants PSU to worry about him. Hopefully, its a strain or something like that.

Unfortunately you are correct. I’ve had surgeries for both and it takes about 1 year to recover. If Bosa has either 4-6 months recovery.
Bad news either way for this season.

Greg Schiano said today that there’s no update on Nick Bosa’s injury.

Per Urban's call-in show, Bosa underwent surgery on a "core muscle" and is out indefinitely

Ugh! Definitely not back by PSU. Id be shocked if he played again for Ohio State. Both Bosa’s ending their Buckeye career in disappointing fashion.

Pending detail of the surgery, best case he makes it back Michigan St. or Maryland...worst case the NFL, Ohio State and the Bosa's have to make a tough decision.

    Good Luck to Bosa,
    Go Buck!

I'd bet my pay check he is done for the year. He wont want to risk getting hurt again and hurting his draft stock. Well we all kind of guessed it was bad, still disappointing though.

I honestly don't feel as worried, I just feel like our offense can compensate for the loss and score some more points while Coop and the other youngsters kind of "settle in". *****I am in no way saying this is not a big loss, I am just saying with how good our offense is, and the capable guys we have at DE, we should be able to ride out the storm. If Jones and BB keep feasting on the inside, we will be fine with whoever steps into his role (Coop and whoever else).

The NFL is a business...the injury could lower his draft value and/or they may suggest another season in college to prove he is healed. Ref. JJ Watt...JJ had a "groin" surgery and one of the dr.'s that worked on me associated with the Texans informed he came back too early which led to additional issues. I hope like hell this is not a major for Bosa and he makes it back towards the end of the season. Whatever the injury, the NFL will find out.

If he's 100% come playoffs I don't know that Bosa will sit.. I think he wants a Natty more than he cares about the possibility of getting hurt lowering his draft stock...

Let's be serious.. the kid is good enough to be injured and still get drafted top 5. Even an ACL.. would anyone seriously doubt that he wouldn't come back just as strong after an injury like that? I don't think it's in his DNA.

Man this sucks for him and OSU fans. I really hope this isn’t the last we’ve seen of him.

I agree with all of your comments, however ref. my statement and trust me; the NFL is a business. I agree he wants a "NATTY" at the risk of injury. That is woven into the genetics of all athletes from the high school level and up. He entered OSU on a repaired leg (ACL) and has proven it has healed...no problem. He can and will come back after this injury...pending damage and surgery it will require healing/time.
The core/area getting fixed will be heavily evaluated by all (OSU and NFL). In the game of football, power and explosion start with the abs and ass.
    I hope for the best!!!!!
    Go Buck
