    Joe Burrow, Quarterback, LSU
The highest-profile player on this list, Burrow decided to transfer from Columbus after not being able to take the starting quarterback job from Dwayne Haskins.

After considering North Carolina and Cincinnati, Burrow elected to head to the quarterback graveyard also known as Baton Rouge, where he will forever be known as Joe Burreaux. Burrow will attempt to resurrect public opinion on LSU's quarterbacks, most of whom have come in with incredible expectations and unfortunately have not lived up to them.

After redshirting his first year in Columbus, Burrow completed 22/28 passes for 226 yards and two touchdowns in 2016, and 7/11 passes for just 61 yards, although he missed several games with a hand injury.

I plan to make it inside this year (LSU). My company has a very nice tailgate that I attend annually, however I've yet to make it into the stadium for a game. This year I will make it and wear my tOSU hat and LSU t-shirt.

All things considered, I thought Joe played really well overall. LSU's play calling was extremely conservative (run, run, pass), his O-line couldn't pass block worth a damn, and his WRs couldn't catch a cold. Hopefully they give him some chances to sling the rock in conference play, because he seemed to do really well when they opened it up.

When they actually let him throw on first and second down he found pretty good success...…….very solid start considering he has only been with the program a short amount of time and is still learning the offense...…...

Agreed. I was impressed with Joe.

I'm glad we have Haskins though. We made the right decision.

Remember that Joe was in front of Dwayne prior to Joe's injury...………..

Haskins took advantage of the additional reps...……..

I think that Haskins simply has a higher ceiling and a better skillset for our staff to utilize.

On the timeline give, I think that Haskins would have won out no matter what. If not, it would have been a mistake by the staff.

I still contend that the question wasn’t Joe vs Dwayne, but Day/Wilson vs Urban.

If we plan to run QB draws on 3rd and 6 and give the QB 10 carries a game, Joe was better suited... if we want to see what we saw Saturday (we do!), Dwayne is the easy choice.

I think Urban sitting on his couch last weekend was a blessing for this offense.

Part of me wishes Joe was still here as a starter, but I think he found a home where he can succeed and we clearly have a QB we’re happy with. The depth would’ve been nice to keep, but even with a lack of depth, I feel like everyone is in a better situation than the Cardale/JT cluster
