This weekend started off on a great note, when class of 2015 wide receiver, and H-Back A.J. Alexander became the 16th senior to commit to Ohio State. Selecting the Buckeyes over Wisconsin, the 6'4, 220-pound playmaker adds another another big target for J.T. Barrett and the OSU offense for years to come.

Making his choice before his Lake Braddock, VA squad took on rival Robinson High, A.J's night might have started off awesome, but it ended kind of sour as Lake Braddock lost the game, 19-17. The latest future Buckeye caught four passes for 45 yards.

ALEXANDER FINDS PAY DIRT TWICE, INJURES LEG IN UPSET WIN
After committing to Ohio State a week ago, Lake Braddock, Virginia's A.J. Alexander and his teammates lost a nail-biter to rival Robinson, 19-17. This past Friday, against Virginia's fifth-ranked team they got back on track, besting Chantilly Westfield 36-23. Alexander said being a senior leader on his team helped him get teammates refocused.

"I try to go out there and lead by example," Alexander told 11W. "It's important that I'm out there and confident. If the seniors go out there and do that, the rest of the team will do the same."

Alexander definitely led by example on Friday, even if he missed most of the second half with a leg issue.

"My leg is fine, just had to be cautious," he said. "I had a touchdown on a hand-off that was like 60 yards, and I also had a kick-off return for a touchdown."

The Washington Post has an excellent post-game reaction video from Alexander, including highlights.

    ALEXANDER INJURY UPDATE
Ohio State's most recent commitment, Lake Braddock, Virginia's A.J. Alexander left Friday night's game with a leg injury suffered in the first half. Before the injury, Alexander had returned a kick-off for a touchdown and taken a handoff 60-plus yards for another, showcasing incredible burst for a 6-foot-4, 225 pounder. On Sunday, he told 11W that his leg feeling good.

He's obviously a pretty tough kid, because today it was reported that Alexander suffered a torn ACL, and will miss the rest of his senior season. Alexander was scheduled to make his official visit to Columbus this weekend, and as of right now there's been no change in plans.

    A.J. ALEXANDER INJURY/OFFICIAL VISIT UPDATE
About ten days ago it was reported that Ohio State 2015 commitment A.J. Alexander had torn his ACL and would miss the remainder of his senior season. At the time, Alexander said things had not been completely confirmed regarding his injury, but that is no longer the case.

"I tore the ACL, l'll be out for a while," Alexander confirmed with Eleven Warriors following his official visit last weekend. "I had surgery on Tuesday. I'm a little sore but I'll be back and better than ever."

Despite the disappointing news injury-wise, Alexander said his visit to Columbus was all he'd hoped it would be.

"(The visit) was great" he said. "I had a great time. The game was awesome, the offense was rolling and JT (Barrett) was nice. He's a very smart quarterback, you can see him going through his reads really well. It was cool to see the offensive line step up big time as well. I like how balanced the offense is."

What else did Alexander do on his trip? Worked on the bonds with his future teammates of course.

"I spent a lot of time with the other commits and the recruits, like Torrance Gibson, basically the whole day," he continued. "Everyone is really cool and it's not my first time meeting them, because I was at Friday Night Lights and other camps we've been to."
