Rivals.com$ Sooners Trying to Make Noise in Virginia.........The high school football talent in the states of California, Florida and Texas are talked about as the 'cream of the crop' as far as recruiting goes but there are plenty of other states like Virginia that put out quality talent as well each year, with it being a near historic year in the Old Dominion. Among that amazing mass of 2014 talent is Rivals250 safety prospect, C.J. Reavis. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound prospect out of Chester (Va.) Thomas Dale has been picking up offers the last few months at a rapid pace and recently added another from the Big 12. In what is fast becoming a broken record; defensive line coach Jerry Montgomery handled recruiting Reavis while at Michigan and brought that information with him to Norman. At that time an offer was being discussed from the Wolverines but did not take place due to his job change. Once Montgomery arrived in Norman, and began to reacquaint himself with Reavis, he began to speak with defensive coordinator/defensive backs coach Mike Stoops who got a look at the four-star safety's film and wasted little time extending a Sooner offer.
