Coach Tressel just announced that Chris Wells has been ruled out for Saturday's home game against the Troy Trojans (2-0). The reason for his absence is because his foot continues to be sore however Tressel did say "he's making progress. I can't promise exactly when he'll be back, but I felt a little bit better after yesterday than I felt at the end of last week."
LG Steve Rehring will also be inactive Saturday and might be out serveral weeks, to an injury not disclosed (or one which I'm unaware of).
So, who's going to fill Steve's spot in the line? Well, look for freshman J.B. Shugarts and Michael Brewster to comine in this effort. You might see several combinations to accomodate these changes... i.e. moving RT Bryant Browing to LG and J.B. Shugarts to RT.
