50 Days Until Kickoff!

Here we go Buckeye fans! We are a close 50 days until our Buckeyes kickoff the 2012 season and officially start a new era of Buckeye Football! Here is a short list of essentials that need to be done before Sept. 1st:

- Time to dust off the football jerseys which includes performing required annual maintenance ... making sure they smell like grass and 23 different styles of beer (recommendation: Ryan Shazier kamikaze kill shots on unsuspecting opponents on kickoff... your neighbors won't think you're crazy as you tackle the air, and finally, re-freshen your skills on a shot gun beer or 2, or 3, or 4, or I've already lost count...)

- Cooler Maintenance. Don't underestimate this baby... I heard your cooler only held 25 beers last year... what the heck man? Time for the hail marry.... go big or go home... your tailgate will thank you.

- It is absolutely essential for you to run 200 laps around your house every morning in full Buckeye gear (STARTING NOW!!!) or if you don't then you're a TTUN fan and Marotti will be having NONE of that.

- New Jersey? You took things a bit too far on kickoff coverage and ripped your jersey. Now you have a dilemma.... which jersey will you be buying?

Get your game on... It's only a matter of days before our season starts again....

I cannot wait to see Simon and Hankins this year! Hell, our entire defense is going to be nasty!

People talk a lot about our D-Line but the Shazier/C. Grant/Sabino trio is going to turn some heads. All it takes for Grant to become an All-American is for him to just ‘get it’ mentally. And we know what we have with Shazier. Bino obviously improved as the year went along last year. Gotta think he will be much improved.

I just can’t wait to get this season started!!!
