Well as an OSU fan there's really only one thing you can do about this (well two); root for PSU to beat Bama in Bama, and/or have OSU beat the SEC champ in Glendale. Game over

Just a dumb, ignorant, hillbilly from the south. Christ, what responsible news organization would allow something like that to be written?!

Oh and we would have played in the heat, in the south, probably in September. But Bama, Florida, and Georgia said no to a home and home with us.

I don't want to hear about how we are sissies, they won't even play us!

I really hate the SEC and how they chant "SEC SEC SEC" at the end of every game they are about to win out of conference or in bowl games. I wish the other conferences would chant their conference at the end when they are about to beat these fools as well.

I still can't get over the chest thumbing especially with all the infractions coming out of the SEC this off season. It obvious they endorse cheating...we already knew they endorsed sub-par academic standards. I despise the SECession conference!!!! Man I hope we draw one of these schools in the bowl this year.

Well, we've got a 75% chance of that considering now that 3 out of 4 of our top bowl tie-ins are with the SEC: Capital One, Outback, and Gator Bowls. And there's a pretty good chance that the #2 Big Ten team could face the #2 SEC team in the BCS since it's almost a given that our two conferences will send two teams to the BCS.

Why are the SEC fans so focused on Ohio State's program?

Why does the rest of the baseball world hate the Yankees?

Despite being in a tiny slump now (if you can really define the last decade as a slump), Ohio State is the most consistently good program in the history of college football.

    Who is better?
Notre Dame? They were good aaaaaaaaages ago
USC? They were good in the 60's and 70's and then again this past decade, but when else?
The SEC may be on top now, but where were they pre-2000?
Ohio State has always been there and will always be there. And as far as "being there" is concerned, losing championship games counts just as much as winning them. What other team has finished in the top 10 in the polls as consistently as Ohio State?

So yeah. We can take a day off. Ohio State is just as good without that practice. Perhaps 'Bama needs it.

exactly! OSU has been the definition of consistency the past decade. They have finished nearly every year in the top 10 and if our biggest knock is that we lose in BCS Championship games, that is a heck of lot better than most programs. Ohio State will always be a power. Sooner or later the SEC will sink back into mediocrity and all will be normal once again

Jealousy! With the exception of Alabama, not one has the tradition and fan base that tOSU has. Auburn and LSU come close, but no cigar!

What position does he play on the Tide? He keeps referring to them as "we" so I assume he contributed to that win in January.

first off the bleacher report sucks! second, there is only one team that can talk when it comes to it's overall production in college football when it comes to total wins, heismans, national championships, and tradition. that would be bama. other then that the rest of them have had only recent success in the last 10 yrs. SEC fans hate us and we hate them. facts are facts though! they still won't play us in our own backyard. i give props for the vols for scheduling us in the future years. but you also have to love the fact that most of the SEC success has come from coaches who grew up in ohio.

Nick Saban and Urban Meyer were both assistants at Ohio State. It's not just the SEC though. Pete Carrol was a Buckeye assistant too.

This has annoyed me for the longest time when I go on SEC boards as I see them bash Big ten country and pound their chests on how great their coaches are. The LSU fans did this during the lead up to the national championship game...meanwhile Les Miles and Bo Pelini are both from the buckeye state.
