Hoke has to be the worst dressed coach...The Navy blue shirt with black pants drives me nuts! Then he has the sleeves of his under shirt hanging out....And that is tough to look at.

Absolutely disgraceful player management... I hope future recruits take a long hard look at how Hoke is handling his player's health.

ANN ARBOR -- Michigan sophomore quarterback Shne Morris left the Michigan Stadium field on a cart Saturday night following the Wolverines' 30-14 loss to Minnesota.

Morris -- who went 7 of 19 for 49 yards, with an interception and a lost fumble Saturday -- was seen limping badly on the field after being hit late following a throw early in the fourth quarter.

Michigan did not, however, remove the sophomore left-hander -- who had been limping earlier in the contest -- from the game immediately, leaving him him for another pass attempt before lifting him in favor of senior Devin Gardner.

Wolverines coach Brady Hoke was asked after the game why Morris was left in the game when he appeared to be hurt.

"I don't know if he had a concussion or not, I don't know that," Hoke said. "Shane's a pretty competitive, tough kid. And Shane wanted to be the quarterback, and so, believe me, if he didn't want to be he would've come to the sideline or stayed down."

Asked if he saw his sophomore quarterback looking "wobbly" after the hit, Hoke said he did not.

"I did not," he replied. "I didn't see it. I can only answer for me."

Morris was taken out of the game in favor of Gardner, but then actually returned for one play later after Gardner lost his helmet following a run -- which meant he was forced, by rule, to sit out a play.

Rather than inserting third-string quarterback Russell Bellomy, Morris re-entered the game and handed the ball off to Justice Hayes.

Hoke did not have any update on Morris' condition after the game, and said he'd have to "evaluate" the film before making a decision on who starts at quarterback next week at Rutgers.

I believe the smoke you're referencing is the hot seat, which has now burst into flames... I'm sure he's just drinking hot dog water.

    Statement from UM:

If only there was some kind of device that we could invent, that could enable a football coach to communicate with his staff while on the sidelines. Such a magical device could sit atop one's head and cover one ear, and there would be an audio input device approximate to the user's mouth, enabling said coach to converse with both field-level and booth-level coaches and staff members. To fund such an incredible undertaking, we could slap a sponsor logo over the ear-cup.

If only we had this kind of technology at our disposal!!!!

some one has to get fired after that, too bad it will be someone who wasnt even involved in the process. "Hey Student GA, your fired for not letting me know, even though your job is substitutes on KR"
