Game 3: Toledo vs. #11 Ohio State (Sept 19th @ Browns Stadium) 2009 Ohio State Football Toledo Rockets (1-1) vs. #11 Ohio State Buckeyes (1-1) @ Cleveland Browns Stadium Sept 19th, 2009 Noon kickoff Tough loss to USC at home... time to put a whooping on the Rockets and prepare to win our 5th consecutive Big Ten title.
Toledo is no joke. I hope we don't have a hangover from Saturday night. The Rockets can put up some points, hopefully our offense finds itself in this game and prepares itself for Big Ten play.
And people jump me and question my commitment as a fan. One non-conference loss later and we're all ready to jump ship and put an end to probably the second greatest era in program history. Anyway, ABC 6 will have the game.
I hope you are just joking............we just lost to the program of the decade and the #3 team in the nation by just 3 points...........some of you need a reality check............. damn right.
well it's time to regroup and bounce back after a tough loss. toledo should have no problem getting up for this one. the only problem for them is how do they stop our running game when they couldn't stop purdue. i expect a slow start but the final should be 35-10 buckeyes.
6 in a row to top ranked teams~~ what makes ya think no.7 (at P.S)will be any different? willing to listen to any logical reasons.
I feel that the team is headed in the right direction along the offensive and defensive lines............Penn State lost a ton of talent along both lines, including wide receiver...........we play well at PSU.........I believe we have won the last two out of three games there........or maybe I have a little faith in Coach Tressel to correct Pryor's errors and go from there..... Besides, PSU does not compare to USC in talent............... Now back to Toledo.............
You convinced me~~ gonna bet the house and farm on the 'Bucks' but whoa be tide if i lose,i'm comin after ya. LOL !!
I think we come out firing vs. Toledo. We will get a big lead going into the 2nd qtr mainly through our passing game.
After all the talk against him, it's time for Terrelle to become "the guy." By the way, get inSaine the ball, please.
I expect a game similar to the one after we lost to Texas in 2005. Sluggish early, then come on strong
Toledo's O is prolific especially the passing game. watch out for lil Eric Page from Toledo...hes up near the top of leading wrs in the country...5'8 or so and lightening fast. Our D needs to be great...im actually a lil nervous for this one...Glad its not at the Glass Bowl where UT plays considerably better...remember they beat a top 15 Pitt team with Larry Fitzgerald a few years back...
I hope our guys come prepared for this game... the last thing this program needs is a poor showing vs Toledo or worse, a loss.
Well we need to keep improving, we're going to need it, come Penn State. We're not going to have 100,000+ people cheering for us this time, we're going to their large and hostile stadium. I'd like to stay away from a Ohio State/Penn State 2005 version 2.0 I know we all want to remain undefeated for the rest of the season so we can hit up the Rose Bowl again. First step, winning against Toledo.
Personally I feel like after losing that game to USC our guys come out fired up cuz they really wanna punish someone for what happened the previous week. I'm actually gonna be on alert for our guys to be head hunting and trying to vent anger for the next few games if not the rest of the season. They want to prove themselves. Here's their chance to get to work.
