don't know if anyone put this on here yet!!! but it's one of my favorite clips. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEcQZQE6k4I
the first time i watched that i had a scUM fan sitting right next to me. to make a long story short he got up and walked out while i was laughing.
i really don't listen too him too much but a couple of times i did. he was respectful towards ohio st.
Yeah, Cowherd likes Ohio State. He just bashed us this past season for "backing in" the NC game. It's his job to give an opinion and be critical. I have heard him numerous times give props to Ohio State. He bashes TSUN and ND often. He has used us as an example many times when he brings up the most elite programs and when he talks about schools who produce lots of NFL players. Unlike most Buckeye fans, I know how to take criticism. If it's legit, i'll sit back and i'll take it. But if it's ridiculous then i'll defend OSU. He is a USC homer though and he has nothing to do with USC. He isn't even from California and I don't think he even lived here.
I heard him make an argument for USC. This is where ESPN contradicts (sp) themselves. Ok, they build up USC to be one of the greatest teams ever when anyone who really knew anything about college football could have told you they would have been pretty good but they weren't the best team in the country. Analyst's bash our schedule over and over and say we don't deserve to play in the national championship. Well let's see......ESPN's final Bottom 10 had Idaho as their #1 worst team. The same Idaho team USC opened the season with. USC went on to lose to Stanford at HOME, and their other non-conference game was Notre Dame. They got worked by Dennis Dixon and Oregon. Some say, "hey they killed ASU". Wow, congrats, their one win over a ranked opponent was Cal, who eventually lost to Stanford and finished unranked. Yes I know USC played very well toward the end of the season and murdered Illinois, but when were they challenged? They almost lost to terrible Cal and beat up on overrated ASU. OrSU and UCLA were the last 2 games of their season. OOOOHHHHH. Everyone knows Illinois had no business being in the Rose Bowl and I think UGA would have given USC a run for their money.
This past year I heard Cowherd interview Jim Tressel. Then right after that he was talking about how various programs were slipping(Michigan, Oklahoma) and he was openly wondering who was going to be the next team to beat in 1-A. He said, did you hear that earlier, I think Jim Tressel was flirting with me. Translation, he thinks Ohio State is getting better as time goes on as a program. He did have several criticisms this year, but he also paid us numerous compliments. Overall, I think he likes us more than most ESPN people.
Exactly. Cowherd likes OSU, hates TSUN. It's okay if he bashes us every once in awhile. I mean it is his job to be critical.
