    OSU OFFERS FLETCHER JR.
    Ohio State offered a highly touted running back on Friday, extending a scholarship opportunity to 2023 four-star Florida tailback Mark Fletcher Jr.

    Fletcher Jr. is ranked as the 148th-best prospect and the seventh-best running back in the 2023 cycle. The 6-foot-1, 225-pound standout holds 21 Division I offers including Alabama, Miami, Penn State, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan and Tennessee.

    In eight games for American Heritage High School (Fort Lauderdale, Florida) this past season, Fletcher Jr. rushed for 779 yards on 110 carries and scored 13 rushing touchdowns. He also caught 12 passes and added 171 receiving yards.

    Fletcher is a very good RB! I really like him. I still think we go after another. I posted on the 11W site that this feels very much like the ‘21 class when the staff pushed for Evan Pryor to commit and then Trey Henderson committed 10 days later. They could be doing the same thing with Young and Baxter this year. Get Fletcher in and tell Young and Baxter that we are taking the first to commit.

    FLETCHER TO ANNOUNCE COMMITMENT TUESDAY
    One week after visiting Ohio State, four-star 2023 running back Mark Fletcher is ready to decide which college he'll play for. Fletcher announced Friday that he will make a commitment at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, when he’ll pick from a final four of Miami, Michigan, Penn State and Ohio State.

    The 6-foot-1, 225-pound running back visited Columbus last weekend with a host of his South Florida Express teammates. A flurry of 247Sports Crystal Ball projections favored toward Ohio State, four in total, were made shortly after his visit.

    Ohio State offensive tackle commit Luke Montgomery sure seems to think good news is on the horizon for the Buckeyes.

    In eight games for American Heritage (Fort Lauderdale, Florida) last season, Fletcher had 779 rushing yards on 110 carries with 13 touchdowns. He is the high school and 7-on-7 teammate of fellow Ohio State target and five-star 2023 wideout Brandon Inniss. Landing Fletcher certainly wouldn't hurt OSU's chances of landing Inniss, too.
