MALACHI TONEY 2026 Florida wideout Malachi Toney became just the third player Ohio State has offered in his recruiting class and the second wide receiver, joining defensive end Tyler Atkinson and wideout Chris Henry Jr. as the other players offered in his class. Toney was accompanied on his visit by his high school teammate and 2023 OSU commit Brandon Inniss and saw his trip end with an offer from the Buckeyes and wide receivers coach Brian Hartline. The 5-foot-9, 165-pound prospect already has 10 Division I offers, including Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Louisville, Miami, Penn State, Syracuse and Texas A&M. MALACHI TONEY TEASES WEARING OSU LOGO ON HELMET Another standout American Heritage High School (Fort Lauderdale, Florida) wide receiver is flirting with the Buckeyes. Florida prospect Malachi Toney, the former teammate of OSU signee Brandon Inniss, sent out a tease on social media Sunday hinting at what team’s logo he’d be repping on his helmet this season. Toney was the third player OSU offered in the 2026 class, as he picked up his offer on Nov. 26 after he accompanied Inniss on a visit to Columbus for the Michigan game. The 5-foot-9, 165-pound prospect had a standout freshman season alongside Inniss, catching 35 passes for 621 yards with eight touchdowns.
