    PRINGLE HOPING FOR OFFER
A rising offensive tackle in the 2024 class is planning on visiting Ohio State in the spring.

South Carolina prospect Kam Pringle told Eleven Warriors he is planning a visit for March 25 and is intrigued by what the Buckeyes offer.

“I’m extremely excited to be taking a visit,” Pringle said. “I would be extremely happy to earn an offer from OSU.”

The 6-foot-6, 295-pound Pringle said he has spoken with Justin Frye a few times recently and is excited to continue growing that relationship. Pringle is well aware of the storied tradition of offensive linemen of the past playing for OSU, and hopes to make an impact of his own.

“Playing in the legacy of other great former offensive linemen such as Orlando Pace is something I’d really enjoy,” Pringle said.

Pringle, who said he grew up a South Carolina and a Florida fan, also said he will visit Clemson, Virginia and Alabama this spring. He does not yet hold a 247Sports ranking, and has five Division I offers: South Carolina, Arizona State, Florida, Florida State and Duke.

“I feel my best attribute as an offensive tackle is my ability to make almost any and every block regardless of the play style,” Pringle said. “I could definitely see myself as a dominant offensive tackle at the collegiate level as long as I put in work to get better.”

    PRINGLE GETS OSU OFFER
Ohio State offered its third offensive tackle prospect in the 2024 class on Friday. South Carolina offensive tackle Kam Pringle received his offer while making his first visit to Ohio State.

“Playing in the legacy of other great former offensive linemen such as Orlando Pace is something I’d really enjoy,” Pringle told Eleven Warriors earlier this month.

Pringle currently has 12 Division I scholarship offers, a list that includes South Carolina, Duke, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan and Virginia Tech. He is ranked as the No. 1 offensive tackle in On3’s consensus rankings for the 2024 class.

“I feel my best attribute as an offensive tackle is my ability to make almost any and every block regardless of the play style,” Pringle said. “I could definitely see myself as a dominant offensive tackle at the collegiate level as long as I put in work to get better.”

PRINGLE PUTS OSU IN TOP 10
A priority offensive tackle target for Ohio State in the 2024 class has included the Buckeyes in his trimmed-down schools list. Four-star South Carolina offensive tackle Kam Pringle put the Buckeyes in his top 10 Monday, along with North Carolina State, Virginia, Tennessee, LSU, Florida, South Carolina, Georgia, Clemson and Auburn.

Ohio State offensive line coach Justin Frye reached out to Pringle directly on Sept. 1, the first day college coaches were permitted to contact recruits directly in their junior seasons.

“He told me they’re really excited about the future,” Pringle said.

Pringle has racked up 21 Division I offers and is considered the 58th-best prospect and the second-best offensive tackle in the 2024 class per 247Sports’ composite rankings.
