In the 2024 class, it was a heck of a day for linebacker Myles Graham. Although he does not yet have a 247Sports rating, Graham’s recruitment officially blew up Thursday afternoon, as he received offers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Coastal Carolina and Ohio State all on the same day. As a sophomore, Graham attended Evangelical Christian High School (Fort Myers, Florida), and recorded 130 tackles with eight pass deflections, an interception and two forced fumbles. He recently transferred to Woodward Academy in Atlanta, Georgia, and will now be high school teammates with 2023 Ohio State defensive end target AJ Hoffler. He was recently invited to play in the 2024 Under Armour All-American Game.

Georgia 2024 linebacker says he was surprised by Ohio State offer https://t.co/EhqBfbO9Eq— Charles Doss (@CDoss_LGHL) January 22, 2022
The offer frenzy continues The Ohio State coaching staff was not nearly finished sending out new offers on Thursday, as the Buckeyes’ assistant coaches continued their onslaught on the national trail. Continuing the trend of adding Georgia natives to the list, 2024 linebacker Myles Graham also received an offer from Ohio State. Listed at 6-foot-1, 200 pounds, the Woodward Academy product does not yet have a rating as a result of his 2024 class status. However, that hasn’t stopped over two dozen schools from entering the mix in his recruitment early, including the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Ole Miss and Texas, among others. Clearly Graham has caught the attention of many of the nation’s top programs, and will likely be ranked highly once his class gets on the board.
When Myles Graham reflects on his recruitment one day in the future, it won’t be hard to identify when he officially “blew up,” as the kids say today. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound 2024 Georgia linebacker’s recruitment officially took off on Jan. 20, as he received offers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Coastal Carolina and Ohio State all on the same day. Those five scholarship opportunities gave him 13 total Division I offers at that point in time. Almost a month later, his offer sheet now stands at 25 schools. “It was one of the best days of my life,” Graham told Eleven Warriors about Jan. 20. “It was a dream come true. I’ve wanted all those offers for a while. It all sunk in at the end and tears came to my eyes.” Ryan Day personally visited Graham in Georgia and extended him the offer. “Ohio State is a great program obviously, it’s a winning program and one of the best in the nation,” Graham said. “The offer came from coach Ryan Day himself, so it felt personal and it felt real. It felt like they really wanted me and needed me.” When making the offer, Day’s conversation with Graham was brief. The head coach didn’t break down what linebacker position the Buckeyes see Graham playing or get into any technical football details, but he essentially wanted to make a quick introduction and let the 2024 prospect know he was important to Ohio State. “He just told me he wanted to get the recruiting process started early with me,” Graham said. “He wanted to just pretty much offer me because he loved my film.” As a sophomore, Graham attended Evangelical Christian High School (Fort Myers, Florida), where he played virtually every position under the sun and recorded 130 tackles with eight pass deflections, an interception and two forced fumbles. He recently transferred to Woodward Academy in Atlanta, Georgia. “It’s been great, I love it up here,” Graham said of his transition. “I love my teammates and the school I’m going to. It’s definitely been an upgrade and a better fit for me.” Graham is now high school teammates with 2023 Ohio State defensive end target AJ Hoffler. “That’s my guy,” Graham said. “We’ve talked (about Ohio State). Nothing too personal yet, it’s obviously his dream school. We may take a visit together here in the future. But he loves it. He’s trying to get me to maybe play with him one day. Nothing really too crazy right now, though.” While Graham doesn’t have any set visit dates, he told Eleven Warriors he plans to visit Columbus in either the spring or summer. “I will definitely be visiting,” Graham said. “I see a great supportive fan base and a supportive coaching staff. I see a winning culture and academics. I see a really great fit for anybody, you can’t really go wrong with it.”

GRAHAM TO VISIT COLUMBUS THIS WEEKEND One of the top linebacker prospects in the 2024 class, Myles Graham, will visit Columbus this upcoming weekend for the spring game, the four-star Georgia product announced Tuesday. Ohio State made an offer to Graham on Jan. 20, the same day he received offers from Alabama, Auburn and Georgia Tech, after Ryan Day visited Graham in person. This weekend will be his first trip to Columbus since receiving the OSU offer. “Ohio State is a great program obviously, it’s a winning program and one of the best in the nation,” Graham told Eleven Warriors in February. “The offer came from coach Ryan Day himself, so it felt personal and it felt real. It felt like they really wanted me and needed me.” As a sophomore, Graham attended Evangelical Christian High School (Fort Myers, Florida), where he played virtually every position under the sun and recorded 130 tackles with eight pass deflections, an interception and two forced fumbles. He recently transferred to Woodward Academy in Atlanta, Georgia, the same school as 2023 four-star defensive lineman and OSU target AJ Hoffler. “That’s my guy,” Graham said. “We’ve talked (about Ohio State). Nothing too personal yet, it’s obviously his dream school. We may take a visit together here in the future. But he loves it. He’s trying to get me to maybe play with him one day. Nothing really too crazy right now, though.”

Four-star 2024 Georgia linebacker Myles Graham had high expectations heading into his Ohio State visit last weekend. After departing Columbus, Graham said his time spent at OSU exceeded his standards. “Ohio State is definitely a special place,” Graham told Eleven Warriors. “The coaching staff, the fan base, the alumni, everything, it’s all top-notch.” Graham was in attendance for Ohio State’s spring game, and was impressed that more than 60,000 fans showed up in scarlet and gray. “It was amazing,” Graham said. “It was one of the best-attended spring games across the country, the fans were loud and the team was looking sharp. It was a great game.” While on his visit, Graham spoke with Ryan Day, Jim Knowles and the entire defensive coaching staff. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Graham first met Day in January when he received his offer from OSU, and he appreciated speaking with the Buckeyes’ head coach again. “It was amazing,” Graham said of his conversation with Day. “We kind of talked about where he sees the program going and how he cares for his players on and off the field. It was good talking to him.” While meeting with Knowles, Graham said the defensive coordinator told Graham he fits best as an inside linebacker in OSU’s scheme. “We mostly talked about where I fit playing in the defense,” Graham said. “I feel great about it, I feel like that’s my most natural position and where I make the most plays. He’s used the scheme for years and has had one of the top defenses in the nation year after year.” With his visit to Ohio State in the books, the Buckeyes certainly made quite the impression on Graham. “They’re definitely at the top of my list,” Graham said. “They’re going to be in my top schools for a while.” Outside of his visit, Graham said he’s heard mostly from OSU senior advisor and analyst Matt Guerrieri in his recruitment. Graham said he plans on taking another visit to Columbus this summer to participate in a camp.
