Full Court Press: Roddy Gayle views Ohio State as one of his top schools, Trey James loves what the Buckeyes offer and North Carolina transfer Jeremiah Francis won't be an option. https://t.co/BdxAkjpfB1— Eleven Warriors (@11W) April 30, 2020
Micawber Etienne is a menace 😈The 6'11" big man is averaging 13.0 PPG / 12.0 RPG / 4.8 BPG and has picked up recent offers from Georgetown, Illinois, Miami, and Texas A&M.@Micawber_e @Suffield_Hoops @PSACardinals pic.twitter.com/qEuBzbKu9o— BallerTV (@BallerTV) January 11, 2020
Micawber Etienne, 6-foot-10, 220 pounds, Suffield Academy (Suffield, CT.) Out of all four of these players I have mentioned, the Buckeyes’ best chance may be right here in Etienne. He is a high-end player with lots of athleticism and upside which makes him a four-star. But since most of the top center targets are still available, many schools have not begun to look at Etienne yet. Because of that, he holds offers from most east coast programs like Syracuse, Connecticut, Seton Hall, and St. John’s. In addition to those east coast powers, programs such as Kansas and Louisville have offered along with Ohio State. The Buckeyes have their foot in the door here and are working hard to make up ground to get into his top group of schools. Since Etienne seems to be in no rush to make a decision, Ohio State will have plenty of time to make a run in his recruitment. If they can get him on campus this fall or winter and further Etienne’s interest in the Buckeyes, then Ohio State could be looking really good here. At the moment it does appear that Syracuse and UConn have a slight lead because of his proximity to them but this recruitment seems to have a ways to go and no clear leader. That is good for Ohio State. To all the hoops recruiting fans on @BuckeyeScoop you asked for this and here it is.I put nearly two thousand words together on the big man situation for Ohio State in 2021.Click the link below for the full break down and my prediction: https://t.co/TEnUj4ElSy— Mick Walker (@MickWalker247) June 17, 2020
