I'm so torn on this kid. Yes a freak, no doubt about that, but when you look at his actual rushing numbers they are very, meh.

He had 600 more yards from scrimmage and 7 more TD’s in his career than Zeke. Now I know Barkley played a lot more as a freshman, but I’ll argue the fact that Zeke played in an offense better suited to put up big numbers with several Offensive Linemen drafted and doing very well.

I believe that Barkley in the Ohio State offense would have put up Zeke rushing numbers, maybe better.

The fact this kid risked everything to throw in the rain in front of scouts says alot

The kid has all the tools..............he just needs time to mature........

That USC line did him no favors last year........

Look I did not want Cleveland to take him at #1............but with the singing of Taylor...............I can understand it based upon his potential..............let him sit for the year and learn.........

If that report is accurate..............Cleveland fans will love this kid.........

Watched pro days of Mayfield, Darnold, Allen, and Rosen.

I hope the Browns take Allen or Rosen (in that order).

Darnold and Mayfield showed heart, but Allen is the physical prototype guy, and Rosen has the athleticism and intelligence to make it at the next level.

Darnold's lack of mobility, arm strength, and in-game awareness/elusivity doesn't bode well for the pro game.

Baker might have the most upset with his mobility, but he doesn't have the size to be taken over the other 3. Whoever drafts him gets a great player with a fantastic attitude, but in the NFL measurables matter, and athletic QB's give a smaller advantage than big armed passers.

I don't think there's any one guy who could go to any team and still be good, it feels like all these guys styles of play are fits for certain teams and need to land with one of them to be successful.

I don't think Mayfield or Darnold have a very good chance of making it in the league, regardless of team. They just need too many things to go the right way to excel.

I think Rosen is smart enough to get ahead (reminds me of Kirk Cousins), and Allen has the size, arm, and just enough mobility to stick around and get his game together at the next level (reminds me of Phillip Rivers or Ben Roethlisberger).

I'm not saying either guy is going to become the players they remind me of ... Those are just the players in the league who have comparable games.

Darnold and Mayfield don't remind me of anyone that is starting in the league right now. That's not to say that they can't find a way to succeed. I just don't think it's worth the risk @ 1 overall.

I don't love any of these kids honestly, the only 2 I'm convinced can throw well during a Buffalo winter are Allen and Rudolph. I think we could get Allen at 12 or at least we should be able to. Teams are going to drool over him physically but I don't think he'd be ready to start day 1 and I don't believe in using top 10 picks on guys who aren't.

The rookie wage scale helps with that though.. so long as you have a guy who can hold it down til they're ready.
