    2. Bri'onte Dunn vs Warren Ball

Bri'onte Dunn and Warren Ball came into the 2012 class together and by the time they finally exhaust their eligibility in 2016 they will have battled each other more than an old married couple. Right now they are both a bit behind the battle for number one between Rod Smith and Ezekiel Elliott. Dunn has gotten some snaps with the ones, however, so he might be a tick ahead of Ball at the moment. Regardless of where things stand now, whomever doesn't win this #3 job will be the #4 tailback, and if you think there aren't many snaps for a #3 cornerback on this team, just wait until you see the scarcity of carries for the fourth-string running back in an offense that also likes to run its quarterback and receivers.

Breaking Down The RB Race............Ohio State will need to replace one of the most productive running backs in program history in Carlos Hyde, but there are four backs battling for the ball this spring. We take a quick look at each with comments from running backs coach Stan Drayton.

+ Meyer said the RB pecking order at the moment is Ezekiel Elliott, Bri'onte Dunn, Rod Smith, Curtis Samuel and Warren Ball.

    6. Is there a primary workhorse at tailback?
We know that with five talented tailbacks to choose from, not everybody is going to be happy with their touches. But will there be a single tailback who is ecstatic with his amount of carries? That's the real question. I happen to believe that any of Ezekiel Elliott, Rod Smith, Bri'onte Dunn or Warren Ball could rush for 1,000 yards in this offense, but they'd need to be the primary option to get that done. Then you add in freshman Curtis Samuel, and Urban Meyer is pretty adamant that he will be seeing the field this season. Is there too much depth to rely on one workhorse? Or is there too much inexperience to rely on one workhorse? How many players have earned carries? I think Elliott could have a huge season in 2014, but if the rest of the tailbacks continue to show that they deserve carries, then will Meyer's streak of running backs rushing for 1,000 yards stop at one?

No other program has the depth and talent @ running back that we have in C-Bus. Elliot, Smith, Dunn, Ball & Samuel could all start for any other Big 10, SEC, Pac 10, ACC, etc. team. Throw our H-Backs into the mix and it is safe to say we have more talent in the backfield than any team in America.

    Go Bucks!

What a stable of RBs. I've always said that Zeke will be our #1 RB. I will stick by that!

I don't expect to see one back getting 25 carries a game again.
