Good news(that he doesn't want to)

I really feel like Tress will be here for the rest of his career.

Glad to keep coach Tressel as our coach. I also think he will finish out his career in Columbus.

I just want to pimp-slap people who bash Tressel. Granted he may drive a lot of us crazy with his play-calling, but all the other things he has done for this program and university totally make up for it. Here it comes...........

    GOD BLESS JIM TRESSEL!!!

How can people be mad at Tressel? At least when he loses he loses to teams that are usually superior.

I think Tressel's play calling will change. I think this is obvious with his past 2 recruiting classes. We all saw what happened when a team tries to change their play calling without the right players(TSUN and Auburn). Last year we saw few different formations and play calls and I look for even more this year. Jimmy T is a genius and people are idiots for thinking they know whats best for the team.

    I agree Bucknut502.....

We have changed our philosphy when it comes to who we recruit. That is evident in the last two or three classes(including this years). His play calling will definitely change. We had a true frosh QB and there is not one HC in the country that will put a game in a true frosh's hands.

He will be for the rest of his career!!!!!!!!!

i disagree with ya on this to some extent. a smart coach would not put pryor in the that kind of situation, but i bet there are a lot of coaches that would rely fully on pryor because of the playmaker he is. I bet if he was starting QB at florida, urban would put the game in pryor's hands every time. some people dont put transition as a big priority, for example auburn and tsun, so therefore they imediately put players in those situations instead of easing them into it

expectations are always high at osu. there will be those few nut jobs who feel tress should be fired whatever reason. i do agree we should not be content on the success we have had. speils said this on the fan and i can't agree with him anymore. i feel that the way we have recruited that shows that tress is changing the way he coaches.
