Any news on where we stand with this kid? He is a big time receiver (5 stars on scout). Anyone know his schools and leaders?

Has a Buckeye offer...UCLA leads for his services, and I don't like Ohio State's chances at the moment. You get an official/on campus visit somehow and that MAY change, but I just don't see him ending up here.

Yeah I don't like our chances either. Maybe that's why the coaches are going to make a big push for Marlon Brown. I heard yesterday that the coaches are going to start contacting him more.

You are correct sir. I don't know what our chances are with him though? At first he was interested in Ohio State then just like that there was nothing. Now all of the sudden the coaches are making a big push for him. We'll see how this goes.

Recent news says that tOSU is sending a coach out to Evans' school to meet with Evans' coach. Evans appears to have some interest in OSU and word is that he will make an official visit to tOSU and TSUN. I still don't see him leaving the west. Just thought you all would like to know.

I'm hearing Evans is still visiting OSU but no date has been set yet. He is still very interested in OSU but those who follow him closest say UCLA is still the team to beat. If you can get a national recruit to come visit, you have a chance.

He isn't making a decision anytime soon, but if he does want to be a Buckeye, you better believe the staff will make room for him.

Thanks for the updates on Shaq. I'd love to get him but I don't think he comes here.

Yeah I think our depth at WR may concern him though he isn't afraid of competition. I don't see him coming to OSU either, but if he wants in the staff will make room for him.

I saw some video 1 v 1s and he dropped every ball thrown his way. I know it was only like a 5 throw sample, but he looked like the guy stonehands from necessary roughness. He's gotta be a 5* for some reason though so I'll take that as a one time thing

His speed, size and route running skills are the big reasons why he is ranked so high. There have been questions about his hands, but good coaching can always fix that.
