Ohio State's WR room is stocked with talent, but how many can the Buckeyes actually play on Saturdays? https://t.co/LCFrhmpvrm— Eleven Warriors (@11W) August 23, 2016

I know JT missed some throws on Saturday, but this group is not getting/creating any separation from DB's at all. We have a bunch of great athletes at the position, but none of them are true bonafide WR's yet. The absence of KJ Hill is hurting a bit because even though he didn't get every ball thrown his way, he was continually getting himself open and in good position. Smith and his group really needs to work on route running and creating separation - Indiana showed everyone the blueprint for trying to slow us down, and that's making us pass and making the WR's beat us. Albeit, they couldn't stop the run at all, but come down the stretch here including this week, we are going to start facing teams that will be able to stop the run, making our WR's and passing game much more vital.
Saturday was the worst game JT had throwing the ball in a long time. The announcers mentioned several times that the wind could have played a huge factor because it was swirling. On the field it may have felt like it was blowing in JT's face but when the ball is 30 or 40 feet in the air it would carry the ball. I think that's what happened on the over throw to Samuel. The look on Barrett's face was shock. He couldn't understand how he over threw Samuel that bad. IIRC, the ver next series he under threw a receiver by several yards. But hey, JT has his worst game of the year and we win 38-17....I'll take that all day!
Watching the game at the Stadium I agree completely, JT had a horrendous day and missed some big throws, but the WR's looked like crap IMO. I watched Brown almost exclusively when he was in, and he could not get separation at all, there was at least 5-10 plays where JT legitimately had no where to throw the ball.
Urban Meyer isn't panicking yet, but Ohio State's wide receiver play is "nowhere near where it needs to be." https://t.co/U5ztTt3xan pic.twitter.com/IrTgfqmj7M— Eleven Warriors (@11W) October 21, 2016
After just five catches by wideouts against Penn State, OSU wide receivers accounted for nine against Northwestern. https://t.co/L5Lc0N5rNI— Eleven Warriors (@11W) October 30, 2016
Ohio State outside WRs drawing major praise. They just aren't catching passes. And probably won't start to https://t.co/DsNOA6ZQis— Doug Lesmerises (@DougLesmerises) November 16, 2016
