Well, Season 3 is here... Jimmy D isn't.

I'll still reserve definitive judgement, but through two episodes; I'm certainly glad Dexter starts next week.

Haven't seen episode 3, but I have liked it so far. Gyp Rosetti is such a DBag, but a good one. I was shocked at what Harrow did at the end of the 1st episode!

Episode three was really good. Richard Harrow is definitely my favorite character now; I'm glad he stuck. The episode last season where he was going to off himself in the forrest was excellent.

Yeah, Agent Van Alden is a very interesting character, but right now is completely out of the story. I hope his story merges back with one of the three main crime settings (Chicago, NY, Atlantic City)

With Jimmy gone and with the new emphasis on New York, the Chicago setting needs a main character.

This season is probably the best! I would rate the seasons, 3 then 1 then 2.

Enoch Johnson, and actual man from AC was a bootlegger. Buscemi's character is based off him. Its on bootlegging and the roaring 20s. A lot of historical figures are in this show. Harry Daugherty was actually the Attorney General of the US and a very corrupt one. Al Capone, Johnny Torrio and Dion O'Bannion were actual Chicago gangsters. George Remus probably was the biggest bootlegger that was based out of Cincy. Jess Smith was Daugherty's right hand man at the justice department. The guy from Office Space, Gaston Means is his character I think, was an actual government worker and informant.

Most its based off of Buscemi's character and Atlantic City. I highly suggest you watch it. If you liked the Sopranos you will like this! Although it doesn't have the comedy like the Sopranos!
