I know we have a lot of depth at RB as is but Hall is a very different type of RB who can be used dangerously in the open field. Who gets the call to step up to the plate?

    This

And that opens the door for spring game star, Michael Thomas too!

Yessir! We have not even come close to seeing his potential!

Handoffs and screen passes is where Philly will excel. Not deep routes, Jim Bollman!!!

I have high hopes for Thomas. I do hope that Hall can recover quickly though

    Hyde is stronger...

The question was “who will replace Jordan Hall?â€

Hyde is going to have his role in the offense, Hall or no Hall. Hyde wont replace what Hall does. He may get a few more carries but he is not the shifty, scat-type back that Urban loves to use in space.

Therefore, Philly will be the guy to fill the role if Hall doesn’t go.

Phatty............lets be clear.........we have the starting tailback (likely Hyde) and the starting "Hybrid" which was Hall.........2 seperate positions and roles in the offense.............Hyde will not be playing the Hybrid position.

    From Meyer's mouth..........hopefully Philly Brown............

    #34 will get the ball a ton.........

I'd rather see Fields get the rock but I'm sure that they'll both contribute...

Just not a Hall fan. No biggie...

I understand the question, but I still feel the same....

Edit: I guess my answer to the question is Chris Fields...that's what I'm trying to say...& Hyde is a much better football player and RB than Hall...That's all..It will be nice to see Hall & Stoney utilized right this season that's for sure....

I hear ya...........I know a few guys who think Hall is not effective.............I say he is our best overall football player............in this new offense he could be a huge big play guy.........lets hope he gets healthy and we see him this year..........

Meyer should be better at utilizing Hall's and everyone else's talents so we should see how truly effective he really can be.

Hyde will be the starting RB no doubt and most likely get the most touches. Philly will be playing the slot wr/rb role that Hall wouldve been playing. And honestly where Philly shouldve been playing anyways...He is not a flanker

With the fact that hyde is going to replace Hall at RB, why isnt Devin Smith the one we are talking about being the top playmaker?

Smith is a pure WR. We need a hybrid type player. Think Percy Harvin, Josh Cribbs, Randall Cobb, etc...

Chris Fields fits the mold perfectly...

Another young guy to keep an eye on is Southward...

He looks like a very good talent IMO....

I am the biggest critic of Brown but he was a running back in high school and played the Hybrid role...........

He is the obvious choice but lets see if he can be effective............bottom line is we have to find someone........

Fields and Smith have never played any position except for wide receiver...........
