who do you want the Cavs to get? im hoping for Irving or Williams and then Kanter with their 2nd 1st rounder, i have a feeling Kanter will be the next great big man. he's got Dirk's offensive game, Dwight Howards rebounding abillity, and post moves.

I really like Williams. He looks like he could be a real special player.

Any chance Kemba Walker falls to our 2nd pick (around #8?)

what do you think Williams is a D specialist? lol many experts say Rebounding and D is his Weakness becauase nobody knows how well it will translate but he will score. and JJ doesnt have a future with the Team especally if they draft WIlliams as a PF Hickson is too inconsistant and only looks to be a good player because the Cavs are so Awful, he sucked when they were good

which is why if you dont get a scorer at one, then you better get rebounding or you will have have a good rebuild because you cant win without scoring or rebounding

good chance but doubt we take him, he doesnt fit Byron Scotts PG mold and is way too small for a SG

no i realize he can score but he rebounds and pplays great d but hes not a pure scorer hes more of a complete player. i really like the idea of brandon knight at pick 8. i also think they mite look at kemba or jimmer dan gilbert will want a reason for everyone to talk about the cavs

Gilbert doesnt make the Picks and has little to no say its all up to Chris Grant and Byron Scott and Knight, Walker and Jimmer do not fit byrons scotts system at all you have to be a pass first PG in his system those guys look to score and no he doesnt play "great D" his D is actually Terrible on the Perimeter

i feel gilbert gets his opinion known despite not making the picks. and i agree but if u look at the pg's under Scott they all are great passers WITH the ability to score. which is why i think Kyrie Irving or Brandon makes sense for the cavs. but derrick williams has the phyicality to stay with anyone inside the arc and can play on the perimter when needed. hes hardly "terrible"

I'd be very surprised if Gilbert had no say in who the Cavs pick. He's the owner, he's the one signing the paychecks, he has ultimate power over anyone in the organization. Now yes, the GM and coach have their respective roles... to run and coach the team. But if Gilbert really wanted one player over another, he's gonna get his guy.

if Gilbert gets guys the GM coach dont want, he will be looking for a new GM and HC before the season starts because they will walk, a Coach will NOT coach a team with guys he doesnt want especally through the draft. sorry just NEVER works like that in the NBA and if the GM doesnt have enough Say in the draft then he really doesnt have much of a job with the Cavs right now

Gilbert will have a say but its about 5%

if he was so great at the 3 then why does Arizona play him strickly at the 4? and why does EVER anaylist bring up questions about guarding other teams 3's? he's god awful on D at the perimeter ive seen alot of AZ games and Knight isnt a Great Passer do your research he's avering almost 1 full turnover more then assist again do your research and be able to back things up

mabye cuz he's 6' 9" and analysts know sooooo much. u may want to learn that college game does not EXACTLY translate to the NBA guys are the most talented players on teams and are asked to do things they wont in the NBA.

and UK's offense is set up for an extra pass and they run a lot so assist numbers are skewed. plus pg's under coach cal cant run an offense, why dont u tell that to derrick rose and tyreke evens

they know a hell of alot more then you ever will  not to mention you never answered why Arizona almost never gives Williams time at the 3, wait let me guess you know more then them to? LOL and Rose averaged 4.7 assist to 2.7 Turnovers Evans was a SG playing PG but still averaged 3.9 Assist to 3.7 Turnovers which is still better then Knight who turns it over more then both, Knight is averaing 3.5 Assist to 4.5 Turnovers

can you make just 1 good argument and be able to back it up for once? your an absolute joke

bro calm down its just an arugment lol. and i never said i was smarter than them. ppl on espn tend to say a lot of misguided things. and williams plays the4 because the college 4 is very comparable to the NBA 3. in college basketball ur going to have more players able to guard the perimeter college basketball is a guard oriented sport, therefore ur going to have less players with the ability to bang inside which williams can do. oh and tyreke evans hes an all star POINT GUARD in the nba sooo... brandon knight is a creator he's been a key part to a final 4 team making plays as well creating his own shot hes also smarter than all get out

so if thats a joke than laugh brotha

no the college 4 is nothing like the NBA 3 unless you have an undersized player playing the 4 or have a run and gun team or a 4-1 offense like Matta, None of those fit Sean Millers offense. Evans started every game at SG not PG this year your not very good at doing your own research "Bro" Sacramentos PG this year was Beno Udrih and Knight might be a creater but he's not good enough at it to be a PG in Byron Scotts offense because of his extreamly high Turnover numbers

Now that Irving has declared for the draft this solidifies the Cavs top pick assuming they get it. However, I wouldn't be too upset if they picked Williams

Its gotta be Irving with the top pick as hes the only pg this year worth taking that high. Plus there are several big men that can be taken with that Clippers pick in the 10 range
