    Bear with me:

If you go over to NBA.com and look at lineup stats, with 3-player lineups... So what happens when these three players are on the floor together, then sort by +/- and add some filters to remove lineups with really small sample sizes you get 33 combinations. (https://stats.nba.com/lineups/traditional/?Season=2017-18&SeasonType=Regular Season&TeamID=1610612739&CF=GP*GE*4:MIN*GE*10&sort=PLUS_MINUS&dir=1&GroupQuantity=3)
    • Jose Calderon is in 6 of the top 10 lineups and his worst lineup performace is #10 with LeBron and Crowder.
    • Isaiah is in all of the worst 7 lineups (#s 33-27) and his best is #11 with LeBron and Kev.
Isaiah is a cancer to this team on the court and off, right now. I can understand that he's coming off of a giant injury hangover, but until he's ready, he needs a different role. It's on Ty Lue to fix that. NBA coaches need three skills: draw-up plays when needed, take heat from the press, and most importantly create good lineups.

So Windy just said on ESPN radio that he's heard the Cavs are trying to get ahold of Kemba...

Shortly after he said that, Charlotte acquired center Willy Hernangomez from the Knicks, who complained that he wanted more playing time. I bet Charlotte is looking to package Kemba and Dwight... I just don't think MJ would want to do anything that might help LeBron. I don't think they'd deal with the Cavs without the Brooklyn pick on the table.

I don't think they would either. I think that trade would absolutely help the Cavs. But I still don't think it pushes them past Golden State. IMO, you don't trade that Brooklyn pick unless it does just that.

I don't think that's a healthy standard to meet. "Unless we can make the most talented roster of all time, we need to hold on to a pick that will likely be the 9th overall"

That Brooklyn pick is good, but it's over-hyped. Right now Brooklyn would be the #8 seed in the lottery, and now that Porzingis is hurt, the Knicks will probably fall below them in the standings. The #9 seed in the lottery has the following chances:
    1st Pick: 1.7%
    2nd Pick: 2.0%
    3rd Pick: 2.4%
    4th through 8th Picks: 0%
    9th Pick: 81.2%
    10th Pick: 12.2%
    11th Pick: .04%

9th overall picks for the last five years:
    Trey Burke
    Noah Volneh
    Frank Kaminsky
    Jakob Poeltl
    Dennis Smith Jr

    They did a thing.

    Lakers Get:
    Isaiah
    Channing
    Cavs 1st Round Pick

    Cavs Get:
    Larry Nance Jr
    Jordan Clarkson

I'm good with it. I hate to see Channing go and I'm curious how Lue will use a forward without an outside shot, but big upgrade with Clarkson for Isaiah. These guys are also young, and with that Brooklyn pick, maybe you have something to build with, post-LeBron.... And I'm sure Big Larry Nance is happy to see Jr playing in Cleveland.

Now they really need a center, even if it's a marginal contributor. With Love down and Channing gone, Tristan is the only guy you can really play in that spot.

Oh God. They got rid of Rose too!? And got one of the best defense+3PT point-guards in the league?

The Cavs have an entirely new roster at this point

They still need a center, and they still have the Brooklyn pick.

This gives them two open roster spots to pick up guys coming off of buy outs. That's probably where they'll look for a center.

They can't trade the Brooklyn now unless they get another first round pick in return.

They could've traded Rose and Isaiah for a KIA Soul and gotten better.

But they got young wings plus George Hill who is a good defensive PG who can make open 3s. They're second unit got worse though, at least for the short term. D Wade was actually quite productive.

With IT ending up in LA, that makes me believe that Lebron will not be going there.

IT + Daddy Ball is going to be the most toxic off-the-court nonsense in modern sports history. I wouldn't be shocked if they buy-out IT.

Consider me severely out of the loop, but what was IT doing that was so toxic? I thought everyone had the opinion of him as being basically Kyrie 2.0
