VT defense has dominated Michigan...no matter the outcome this bowl season has been a magnifying glass on the Big Ten.
Yes it's close and going to OT, but this has actually been an awful game. Neither of these teams have no business playing in a BCS bowl.
Don't you have to stick with the call on the field? Was there enough to overturn? Jr. Hemingway is a jigga
You don't think a BCS bowl win helps give a conference creditablity? Especially after the B1G stunk it up in most of their bowl games?
Again I think it could've went either way. I think the ball moved just enough to overturn it. It was very very close.
I guess on paper in a couple years it could help but anyone who watched that game knew who the better team was and Michigan looked like crap. But feel free to defend Blue if you so dare.
Two bad teams, a few questionable calls by refs... blah... Only game left this Football season that has any NCAA implications that I will watch in the UA All-American Bowl in a couple days, lol.
I forgot is there any recruits announcing their college choice at this game with Ohio State on their list?
In a couple years?? The media and fans measure the strength of a conference by championships and BCS bowl wins. Why do you think the ACC get's no respect? I wouldn't go as far as saying VT was the better team, I think both teams played like crap and neither deserved to be in this game in the first place. VT played solid D but couldn't execute when they got close to the endzone. Michigan played very sloppy on offense and got several lucky breaks. Michigan's D sucked bad on 3rd downs but they also made some big stops and made some big plays. It's a toss up really who was the better team. And once again....a missed FG late is the difference in the game. What's up with FG kickers in college football this season?
