Offensive Lineman Kyle Kalis (6'5, 300 pounds), a national top 150 player from St. Edward High School in Cleveland Ohio has verbaled to Ohio State. Kalis becomes the third member of the 2012 recruiting class.
Kalis is one Big Buckeye Kyle plays football with my son, Ben Krieger at St. Eds and roomed with him at the camp in June. Kyle is a great kid with an excellent football pedigree. His father played in The NFL and is currently president of The Steelers Alumni Foundation. He will be a fantastic addition to The Buckeye family and should be able to contribute early.
Where are they now edition: Where were you at on Monday Kyle?? I couldn't find you during the most watched event in the history of ESPN... I didn't see you on that stage after the game... I looked for you when they were passing around the trophy, but i couldn't find you... I didn't see you doing confetti-angels on the field after the game with Urban... I'll look for you on the 24th during the championship celebration, but you won't be there... No, instead you will be sitting in your dorm watching the Buckeyes celebration on TV wishing you were here... Here's to the blood on the field bro... *Michigan is 17-15 in his time at Michigan, and has won only 4 of there last 14 games. They have also lost both bowl games Kalis has traveled to and has yet to win a Big Ten division. A quote from Kyle... "Ohio State is a great program. I'm just not sure how long it will take them to recover. I want a solid, grounded coaching staff with a safe environment. Where there aren't such tough questions."
