first off we could do without the honkies comment. i hate it when people think skin color wins games or championships. Second the team they played was very disciplined and well coached. glenville uses their passing game to move that offense but the weather made them one dimensional. the other teams defense was pretty stout too. glenville turned the ball over 5 times alone in the first half.

really i don't think it's being sensitive. just don't like double standards. people of other races or religions don't like to be called names. Well, i am irish/white and i don't like being called a mick or a honkie. it's racist any way you look at it.

let's get something else straight Glenville has had boats loads of NFL/College talents roll through that school and still hasn't even won a state championship. they even dropped from DI down to DII and still didn't win. it just goes to show that skin color has nothing to do with it. maybe people should start to question the coaching staff.

Glenville has always had trouble winning the big one. Always.

They always have top talent, but they are usually very low in numbers...

Most kids play both ways because they have to...

Just not enough kids play in that rough neighborhood....

At one time they were a small D1...now D2. Plenty of players. I do not buy that excuse.

    Go Bucks!

The division goes off of total school enrolllment, not number of football players...

It's not an excuse, it's the real deal....

I'm not standing up for Glenville. I don't give a holy crap if they win or lose, as long as their best players come to OSU I could care less...

i think that's a cop out too! there are plenty of schools in DI and DII that have kids play both sides of the ball. I think Ginn Sr does a great job keeping those kids in school and keeping them on the football field. He's giving these kids a chance of getting out of a terrible area and i applaud him for that. but when it comes to X's and O's they just don't have it. They win over 95% of their games on their talent alone. i watched the game last night the other team was just an all around better coached team and they deserved to win.

i will also say last night the weather really slowed Glenville down. they kept trying to pass the ball in that snow and it's not happening. Cardinal Mooney did the same thing and lost too.

Agree with your last statement, however the blame goes square on the coaches. When you have 5-10 D1 recruits year in and year out you have enough talent to make it deep into the play-offs. We have a local, similar situation down here. T. Marshall = 10 players annually going D1, play-offs = lose in first round...parents are finally asking questions about coaching staff. Make the better best and coach up the rest! Coaches are not teaching anymore and in some cases never did. If the Glennville staff coached/teaching they would hang banners and get rings.

    Agree to disagree.

    Go Bucks!

HHmmm, if you play ball in Ohio chances are weather is gonna impact at least one or two games...hey coach, where is the running game.

As you pointed out, "it's not happening"!

    Go Bucks!

Real teams do their best to not become 1 sided. We are spread and played in 3 rain games. One super heavy and we threw ball 20 times, coaches have to find a way to balance. Ginns a good coach. I wonder about some of his assistants though
