I'm shocked Meyer pulled JT that early. I thought he'd let JT set record like he let Kenny G do a few years ago

I can't say I'm surprised. I think we (or he) knows what we have in Barrett. It's a little less clear with Haskins and Burrow.

Get those guys the needed reps.

    Pick 6 by Haskins.

He's shown some good stuff but he's still not there yet. He has made some tight throws that he shouldn't have tossed.

Yeah...I'm glad we got to see extended playing time from Haskins. He's definitely not ready.

That pick 6 was just awful! It's 3rd and 15 and you're trying to force a 3 yard out route? Just dumb. Good learning experience tho

I'm sorry but other than the DL, LB's and Dobbins the team did not play well today. This team will lose 1 maybe 2 more games this year.

The WR's weren't horrible but other than Campbell the WR corps was a little inconsistent. 2 fumbles on the 1 was infuriating. I know Berry is a TE.....

OL looked alright other than Billy Price's high snaps. I understand it was hot on the field today and the offense was trying to be fast but that can't happen.

My biggest beef today is with JT Barrett, the corners and the offensive coaches.

First JT. Yeah his numbers looked good, but how many times did he threw into coverage, force balls into very tight windows and yet again not lead receivers on screens on crossing routes? If they played just an average team today JT would've easily had at least 2 picks. That first TD to Campbell was behind Parris. Luckily Parris made the adjustment turned on the burners for a score. Also lucky it was against UNLV. JT was better getting rid of the ball today but still held the ball too long at times.

The corners. I'm going to let Ward off the hook, but the rest of the group needs to step the F up. Sheffield was awful today. I think the 2nd PI was a little weak but other than that he looked lost. I know the majority of the group is young but Sheffield was part of the 2015 Bama championship team and then an All-American JUCO player so he has enough experience. Arnette looked bad in the 1st quarter but seemed to make improvements. This group looks like it lacks focus and some lack toughness.

Offensive coaches. Today was an absolute perfect opportunity to work on things that haven't been working well and/or try new things. UNLV lost to Howard for god's sake so why not take advantage and see what certain players are capable of? Very few if any shots downfield when JT was in. Where the hell is the H-Back? Why didn't McCall play more? Why is the offense so predictable inside the 10 with the spread formation where the RB motions out into the flat and JT runs up the gut? Why do they struggle inside the 10 all together? Now i'm happy that Haskins got a lot of time today and they let him sling it. I'm not even mad about the pick 6. He's a RS-Frosh that got an opportunity to finally display his talent in not-so-much garbage time and if you ask me he looked good.

Again, I have a feeling there's going to be another loss or two this year unless there's some improvement in the passing game and in the secondary.
